Save games from the retail version of Black White 2 (i.e.

Version 1.0), are not compatible with the v1.1 patch.

If you have old save games, it is recommended that they are removed from your My Documents-Black White 2-Profiles folder before starting a new game with the patch.

This will then prevent any conflicting problems between the two sets of save games.

The patch is not vital either.

A. Patch Installation To install Version 1.1 of Black White 2 you will need a full copy of the game installed onto your machine.

Save games from version 1.0 of Black White 2 will not be compatible with version 1.1 of Black White 2.

As mentioned in the original readme, certain USB headsets may cause issues if they are disconnected during gameplay.

To avoid any crashes of the game, please save and quit before removing them.

The textures (I dont know if this is the correct name, Im Spanish) dont work correctly, all the characters are bald and there is no grass.

I cannot guarantee this will work if you are playing the game from a cracked version, and many people have run into problems that way, but if you use the legit installation CDs or get them off eBay, this should work perfectly.

You will notice that the game wont run at all, not even in administrator mode.

With the release of Windows 10 Microsoft removed support for SafeDisc and has also released a disable patch for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.

So to get around it you need to be able to run the game without the CD DVD.

Cut and paste the 2 extracted files to: C:Program FilesLionhead StudiosBlack White 2 or C:Program Files (x86)Lionhead StudiosBlack White 2 depending on where the installer placed your game.

From here on out you will run the game from White.exe.

You can create a shortcut on your desktop or wherever you like.

All you need to do is download the BotG patch from bwfiles.com.

So I bought the original game on Ebay hoping it would work better.

I dont even remember where I found this crack years ago or how I got so lucky.

But after reinstalling and realising that I could no longer find the website anymore I had to unearth it from a backup harddrive and decided to put it online in case anyone else needed it.

Based on the comments, it seems to be the only crack that works.

To clarify, the game does run after doing all this but without the original exe, the game inputs failsafes to prevent you playing, as it recognizes the exe as a cracked version.

Installed the game mounting the needed disk when asked for it.

Installed the patches in order then pasted the no cd crack to the games main folder.

A already cracked version may still rely on the DRM causing the game to look for DRM that is no longer supported.

My Favorite game I fell in love with the original and adore BW2.

It worked Great, I ran CCleaner and did a fresh install of BW 2, ran the patches and replaces the two files in the destination folder and have been playing the game i loved as a kid since.
